Baylee's Bedding is here!!!

I love Baylee's bedding.  I was so excited when I returned from dinner to find a large box on the porch.  It was Baylee's bedding.  We love it so much!  I can't wait to see little Baylee sleeping in there!

Dr. appointment today

I had my doctor's appointment today.  Today was the glucose tolerance test.  I should know in a day or two whether I passed.  I certainly hope so!  It wasn't as bad as I had envisioned.  The drink wasn't even that bad to me---it tasted like orange gatorade!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 27 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I was still down 7 pounds before this appointment.  This appointment I had go up 2.5 pounds. So, I am still down about 4 pounds. 

Maternity Clothes: Finally needed some jeans, so I got a Bella Band at Target.  This allows me to wear my normal jeans unbutton and you can't tell!  Yea for putting off maternity jeans for a little longer. I really like the Bella Band and am hoping to avoid maternity jeans all together.  Since we are getting close to capri weather, it just may be possible to not get jeans. 

Best Moment this week: Feeling Baylee move.  We bought the baby monitor this weekend.  We got some 20% coupons at Babies R Us, so we are trying to buy some of the really big stuff each time.   

Gender:  It's A GIRL!!!!  Baylee Nicole Smith

Movement:  I feel Baylee every day now. She is getting kinda strong and sometimes her little kicks hurt!  

Food Craving: still craving potatoes and had a craving for chocolate covered strawberries last week.  My FABULOUS husband took his lunch break to come home and make me some one day.  HOW INCREDIBLE IS HE!!!  He makes me feel so blessed every day!

What I miss:  Sleeping on my belly and back.  I have missed having a margarita on a Friday afternoon after stressful weeks, especially with TAKS coming next week!

Sleep:  Sleeping okay, but still waking up on my back.  It seems like that is where I am most comfortable. 

What I am looking forward to:  Getting Baylee's nursery bedding and beginning to paint  and get the nursery together. 

Belly Button:  In 

Symptoms: Starting to get a little heartburn. Heartburn is beginning to happen pretty often. 

26 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 26 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: down 6 pounds at last appointment. But I think it has to be up this next appointment.

Sleep:  Sleeping okay, but still waking up on my back.  It seems like that is where I am most comfortable. 

What I am looking forward to:  Getting Baylee's nursery bedding and beginning to paint  and get the nursery together.

New baby stuff!

Eric is officially ready for me to go back to school! ha!  I have been buying too much.  

I bought a few things for either the nursery or babies bathroom.

We also received our travel system that my mom bought for us today.  We love it!  I am so excited and can't wait to see our little girl riding around in it.

25 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 25 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: down 6 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Mostly just some shirts, but only because I want to! ha!  I am just beginning to need pants. I have one pair of maternity pants and I really like them.  I am going to have to get jeans very soon!

Best Moment this week:  Beginning to feel little Baylee move!!! Watching Eric's face when he felt her kick for the first time.  He was so excited and started talking to her---trying to convince her to do it again---she didn't! She has already proven who is boss around her!

We have also registered since the last time I blogged.  We registered at Babies R Us and Target.  We have about a million things on the registeries.

Movement:  I feel Baylee every day now.  She really likes it when I am just sitting around relaxing.  Sometimes is just kicks and sometimes I can feel her actually moving. It is very cool!

Baylee's first shopping spree

Last weekend, Mom, Memaw, and I went to the town square in Granbury for a little shopping spree.  It was a nice treat since Eric was out of town (I don't think he will do that again-ha).  Here are all the sweet thing that I got for sweet little Baylee.

Here is all the loot together.  Mom had purchased the little bib with Baylee's name on it online. SO Cute!

These little pillowcase dresses have become one of my favorite things.  They are so versatile.  They can be worn as a dress, with leggings, or as a shirt when too small for a dress!  AWWW!

HAIRBOWS!!!! You knew it was coming!  It wouldn't be a baby girl shopping spree without getting hairbows.

And I also bought a SWEET baby boy gift for little Landry!  My cousin is only a few days older than me and she is having her third little one in April!  His name is Landry and we will be attending a shower next weekend.  How cute is this gift bag and bow!!!!!
