Updates in Baylee's room!

Eric and I finally got some things hung up in Baylee's room.  We haven't hung up everything but we are definitely much better now.  :)  I am happy with how it is turning out.

Her name on the wall above the changing table.  Holly made these for Baylee's room!  SO PRECIOUS!! Thanks Aunt Holly!

Bulletin Board on her closet wall! 

Wall opposite the changing table.  This wall has her bow holder.  Yes, she already has a TON of bows.  Can't help myself! My aunt Kathy made the precious letter "B" and I added ribbon to make it a bow holder.  I love it.  I need a beautiful frame for above her dresser to place a picture of our little precious one! :)  You can also see her basket of book, basket of toys, and basket of stuffed animals.  Eventually we will get a bookshelf and toy chest but not right now~

No pics of crib today.  I am still waiting on Eric to help me put up the removable decal that says "Thank Heaven for little girls".

Birthday Fish Fry and Outdoor Movie!

Last night, mom and dad hosted a birthday party for Holly (May 29) and My birthday (June 7)!  They did a fish fry and shrimp boil; and some chicken for me!:)  We also enjoyed a family favorite of an outdoor movie.  Dad even built a very nice movie screen!  It was fun!  We watched Avatar---or as Hayden says, "ABatar".

Eric's Lawn work

Eric got really busy working on the yard last weekend.  Not sure what made me want to do it, but I am so glad because it looks great.  Here are some pictures of his handywork! :)

I wish I had a before picture.  He changed out the mulch and trimmed up the little trees/bushes.  It looks so much better!

Baylee's Bathroom and Closet!

Eric completed Baylee's bathroom this weekend.  It is painted a light green color. Sorry the pictures are so bad.  The lighting in the room is not good. 

Full Fashion Baby Shower

Today, my wonderful aunt, 2 sister in laws, and two family friends threw an absolutely beautiful baby shower for Baylee and me!  I had such a fabulous time.  Everything looked totally awesome and the food was absolutely fabulous!  They had so many special little extras and each things means so much to me!  Baylee got a ton of fabulous things---she is totally going to be a FASHION forward little girl.  She will be dressed in style--always! ha!

Baby Shower at school

Wow, I feel so blessed to work with such amazing people.  My school threw a baby shower in my honor this week and it was such a good time.  I was totally overwhelmed by the generosity of my friends at work.  Over 50 people contributed to gifts for me!  What an honor!

Witte Fest 2010

A few weekends ago, our HUGE Witte family got together at my grandparents just as we do every year.  It is a really fun event.  We have usually around 70 people there!  But, this year it was especially special because we were also celebrating my Memaw and Papaw's 50th Wedding Anniversary.  How incredible.  I am so thankful for them and I love them both so much!  Congrats Memaw and Papaw.  Just a few highlights below!
