Eric's Pool Table

Eric finally got his dream- a pool table!  He is so excited.  He has been playing (by himself) ever since the delivery guys left.  Hudson is not liking the table though.  He doesn't like the sound and sits in the corner with his ears back the whole time we are playing.

Enjoy some pictures!

22 weeks today!

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 22 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: down 6 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Mostly just some shirts, but only because I want to! ha!  I will probably need to get some jeans for the weekends soon.  My work pants are fine because of the style I wear--no zippers or buttons.  But, my jeans are beginning to get tight and by late evening they are hurting.
Best Moment this week:  Beginning to feel little Baylee move!!! I think Eric will be able to feel it soon. Ordering Baylee's bedding (see previous post!)
Valentine's Day flowers from Eric and the precious outfit from Gammi (Eric's mom).
Gender:  It's A GIRL!!!!  Baylee Nicole Smith
Movement:   Began feeling little movements this weeks.  I could feel a few kicks/punches and then this morning when I was laying in bed (got to sleep in because I am hope sick---sinus infection) I could feel what seemed like her flipping around---it seemed to move from one side of my tummy to the other!
Food Craving: still craving potatoes!! But, don't really have any other cravings.
What I miss:  Sleeping on my belly and back.  Nothing really else.
Sleep:  Sleeping okay, but still waking up on my back.  It seems like that is where I am most comfortable.
What I am looking forward to:  Getting Baylee's nursery bedding.
Belly Button:  In
Symptoms: None---Luckily I have been that way all along so far!

Baylee's bedding

We ordered Baylee's bedding today!  I am so excited about it.  It will take at least 4 weeks before it gets here. But, I am just so happy that we made a decision.  I can't wait for it to get here, so we can choose paint colors for Baylee's room.

Here is what the bedding will look like.  It will have Baylee monogrammed in the middle of the bumper.

We ordered a window valance to match it.  I can't wait to see it all!  So cute!!!

This and That!!! And some baby loot!

I know I am a little late, but I finally downloaded my snow pictures.  Here are few.  The one with the snow up to Hudson's chin is my favorite.  He was NOT happy with us for putting him in the snow.  What a spoiled brat!
Ignore the ridiculous outfit.  It is pajama pants with a nightgown over it (I was cold that night) and then a sweatshirt on top of it!

This is our best attempt to show how high the snow was--the ruler reads about 10 inches.

Oh man, he is really mad now!  I was cracking up though!

Trying to walk---or more like swim through the snow.

Snow covered house and car.  See Hudson checking it out but NOT getting in it! ha

Looking down our street.

Looking the other way. It's just crazy!

My sweet mother in law LOVES holidays and giving gifts.  So, for Valentine's Day, she sent Eric and I some DELICIOUS chocolate covered strawberries! YUM!!! But, she also had a Valentine's gift for our sweet little Baylee.  She told me she would have to bring them to me, though.  Man, she sure set the bar high for future gifts.  This little girl is going to be so prissy!!!

Everything----hat (with flowers), socks (with flowers), onesie (with flowers), pants (with flowers), a sweet book titled Thank Heave for Little Girls, and a precious little lovey blanket.

Just the outfit!  OMG so cute!

Diaper Bags

On Saturday, Eric and I went to buy our diaper bags.
(sorry pics wouldn't work).

Take a peek:

This is my diaper bag.  It is really awesome because it is glazed so it will be easy to wipe off!
This is Eric's diaper bag.  He really likes the messenger bag. He decided he didn't mind the pink since he will be carrying a baby covered in pink! ha!

Soon, I will be putting up pics of the nursery furniture and bedding we have chosen.

21 weeks today!

Today, I am 21 weeks along in this pregnancy. I can't believe that I am officially in the second half of this pregnancy.  Little Baby Smith is growing big and strong.  However, I am not!  ha!  I haven't gained a single pound so far.  I am hoping to really limit the weight gain with this pregnancy---not for vain reasons but for health reasons.

Baby Smith officially has a name!!! She will be Baylee Nicole!  We are so excited to have little Baylee join our family.  Can't wait to meet her.

I am hoping that this weekend we will be able to start choosing things for the nursery.  I am pretty sure I have the bedding picked out, but it isn't available online at Babies R Us yet.  I hope they have it in store.  Fingers crossed.  I think we have an idea of what we want to do in the nursery.  We will probably wait to start painting until it warms up a little bit though.

I have seen this done on several blogs that I frequently read so I thought I would start doing it too!

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 21 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: down 6 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Most just some shirts, but only because I want to! ha!  I don't really need anything yet!
Best Moment this week:  Technically it was last week, but revealing the gender to all our family and friends at the gender party.  It was so much fun!
Gender:  It's A GIRL!!!!  Baylee Nicole Smith
Movement:   None yet---at least not that I can tell. Although she was moving around like crazy at the ultrasound last week.
Food Craving: potatoes!! I eat potato soup, potato salad, and baked potatoes.  I think we have a potato head on our hands.
What I miss:  Sleeping on my belly and back.  Nothing really else.
Sleep:  I am sleeping pretty good.  Although I keep waking up on my back.  I will have to work on that.  Eric got me a boppy pregnancy pillow for Christmas and I love that thing! I really helps with my sleep.
What I am looking forward to:  Creating Baylee's nursery.  It is going to be sooo cute!  I am also looking forward to creating our registry and making all the fun choices for our little girl.
Belly Button:  In
Symptoms: None---Luckily I have been that way all along so far!

Reveal Party!

Well, we had a fabulous time yesterday revealing the gender to our family.  It was almost exactly split with the number of people who thought boy and who thought girl.  Of course, my dad wouldn't choose and instead got in both pictures.  Silly man!  The cake turned out so cute!! I am also proud of the decorations.  We enjoyed lots of food, making predictions for when baby will arrive, and predictions about who baby will be like.

It looks like we will have a little Baylee Nicole!  We are so excited.  We have wanted a little Baylee for so long.  I am still in shock.  I was convinced that it was going to be a boy, but before the doctor even could say it I had already told him it was a girl.  It was pretty obvious that it was a girl!
The cake!  Adorable and yummy!

The decorations!

When will baby arrive? Everyone made their predictions.  It was fun to see what everyone thought!

Who will baby be like?  I took a picture before we had Eric's baby picture up and I forgot to go back and get one later.  But, everyone made predictions about baby's eyes, smile, intelligence, etc. It was neat to see what people thought.  It will be a fun memento to keep and look at later.

Talking and eating before the BIG reveal.  How cute are Brad and Hayden's shirts!  Thanks guys for being so excited about this baby!

More eating! Thanks everyone for coming.

April and Addy's adorable shirts!  I was so surprised when they all walked in!  What a precious idea!

Hudson was such a good boy! But, I have the feeling he ate a bunch of food he shouldn't have!
The happy UNCLES and AUNTS! Brad and April are really excited because this is their first niece.  Nate and Holly have nieces and nephews from Holly's side.

The happy Mommy and Daddy!
