Back to School

Tomorrow is the first day back to school.  I got to meet my kids on Friday night.  I have 28 on my list, only 22 showed up.  I am hoping that will carry over to tomorrow too.  28 5th graders is TOO much!  They are too big!

Heading to Boston!!

Eric and I leave early Thursday morning for Boston, MA.  We are going to be enjoying all the Independence Day activities in Boston!  I am so excited! On Friday night, we will be enjoying the Boston Pops concert and the incredible fireworks over Boston Harbor.  

I am looking forward to seeing everything on the Freedom Trail.  I can't help being a history buff when experiencing it first hand!  Brad wants me to try to find out about Thomas Hunstable, who participated in the Boston Tea Party.  I don't think I will be able to though...I think they are doing renovations on the Tea Party museum.  

I will be sure to include tons of pics when we return!  I hope everyone enjoys your Fourth of July celebrations!  We are looking forward to this trip. 

Addy's Dance Recital

Last night, we attended Addy's dance recital.  It was so much fun! She was in two dances-one ballet and one tap.  She did a great job.  I enjoyed playing with my new lens.  Enjoy the pics.  I am very proud of some of them. 

My Birthday Celebration!

We celebrated my 29th birthday with a movie night.  Dad set up a large screen outside and we watched Mamma Mia and Mall Cop.  It was a fantastic, fun event!  Thanks Mom and Dad! 

Eric got me a great new lens for my camera.  It is incredible.

I am really trying to learn how to take really good photos.  Here are some of my favorites.  If you know anyone who would like to some free photos for me to practice, let me know.  I took some family pics of Brad, April, and kids.  She had them blown up to as big as 20X30 and they look awesome.

Las Vegas Pictures, finally

Eric and me in front of the Mirage's volcano.  The volcano is so much better than before.  We got to see it the first trip but our second trip it was under construction.  This time we got to see it explode with the new stuff.  It was SOOO much better than before.  
This is a picture of our view outside the room window at night.  Sorry it is blurry.  It was taken through the window, obviously.   It was a great view.  If you watch at the right time, you could see the very tip top of the Bellagio fountains.  That's is where I want to stay next time.
